Coal Mass Flow Measurement

Coal flow measurement is achieved using microwave-based sensors that continuously monitor the mass of coal moving through pipes from the pulverizer to the burners. These sensors, placed 120 degrees apart around the pipe, provide real-time data to ensure balanced distribution of coal across all pipes, which improves combustion efficiency and reduces emissions like CO and NOx.
Technology: Utilizes microwave-based sensors to provide continuous measurement of coal flow in each pipe.
Accuracy: Ensures measurement within a permissible deviation limit of ±5%.
Implementation: Sensors are strategically placed 120 degrees apart within each coal pipe for optimal data accuracy.
